BOLD LOOK - For a little more oomph, a couple of coats of mascara will take your lashes to the next level
SAFE & GENTLE - The procedure uses products specifically designed for use around the delicate eye area
VERSATILE - A Lash Lift can be customised to achieve the level of curl or lift required for each individual
BOOSTS CONFIDENCE - A Lash Lift can make your eyes appear more open and awake giving you a more youthful appearance
PERFECT FOR ANY OCCASION - Whether for everyday, long leisurely holidays, cruises, special events, your lashes will look effortless and ready for any occasion
WHAT IS A LASH LIFT?
A Lash Lift is a beauty treatment that enhances natural lashes by lifting and curling them from the base to give a fuller, longer appearance.
HOW LONG DOES A LASH LIFT LAST?
Most women can expect their Lash Lift to last 6-8 weeks. This varies for each individual depending on how quickly your natural lashes grow. Your lashes stay lifted until they grow out.
HOW LONG DOES THE LASH LIFT PROCEDURE TAKE?
Around 1 hour with Lash Tint.
HOW IS A LASH LIFT PERFORMED?
The Lash Lift procedure involves applying a rod or shield to the upper eyelid, lashes are then rolled up onto the rod or shield and held in place with water based glue. A gentle Lash Lifting solution is applied to the lashes followed by a setting solution. The timing of the lotions is based on the assessment of your natural lashes and the look you wish to achieve.
ARE MAINTENANCE VISITS REQUIRED FOR A LASH LIFT?
No, Lash Lifts are low maintenance alternative to Eyelash Extensions offering a natural, eye opening effect. You may wish to return for a re-tint in 3-4 weeks (Lash Lift Re-Fresh)
CAN I WEAR MASCARA?
Yes absolutely, you may use the Lash Lift system Mascara immediately after a Lift, or wait 24 hours for all others. Avoid waterproof mascara DAILY as an oil based cleanser is required to remove it. Using oil based remover EVERYDAY may see your Lift dropping (relaxing) sooner than it should.
MY LASHES ARE REALLY SHORT, CAN I STILL HAVE A LIFT?
I have had great results with short Lashes however they must be long enough to reach up onto the Lash Lift Rod or Shield. Contact RL&BD to discuss
ARE LASH LIFTS DAMAGING TO MY NATURAL LASHES?
Generally no, however, over-processing can occur resulting in frizzled natural Lashes. This is why it is important to use an experienced, certified technician. For REGULAR Lifters, a conditioning gel is recommended to keep your Lashes hydrated and nourished.
CAN ANYONE HAVE A LASH LIFT?
If you’ve had recent eye surgery, laser surgery or on eye medication, check with your physician. Sufferers of Eye infections, extremely sensitive eyes, Hay fever, dry eye syndrome may not be able to undergo a Lash Lift
CAN I HAVE A LASH LIFT DURING PREGNANCY?
A Lift should be avoided during the first trimester due to higher hormonal changes and sensitivities. During the second & third trimester a patch test is highly recommended, however this is compulsory at RL&BD for pregnant clients.
Another factor to be aware of, Lift results can vary during pregnancy due to hormonal change. Results may be under-whelming
Your comfort is important, a Lift usually requires you to lay flat on your back for up to an hour.
